How to order
There's no account to create and nothing to download. You send one email, and we email you back a draft. You pay only after you approve it.
Step 1: Send us an email
Email orders@scantoolmatch.com. In the subject line, write what you want, for example "Resume refresh", "Resume + cover letter" or "Cover letter only".
In the email, please include:
- Your name, and the phone number and email you want shown on the resume.
- Your current resume, if you have one. A Word file, PDF, or clear phone photo of a paper copy all work. No resume? List your jobs instead: employer, town, roughly when, and a few lines about what you did.
- The job you want. A job title is fine, and a link to a real posting is even better.
- For a cover letter: the job posting and the company name.
- Anything you'd like us to know, such as a gap in work, a move, or "please keep it to one page".
Please don't send: passwords, your Social Security number, date of birth, bank or card details, or medical information. We never need them.
Prefer a form? Use the order form on the home page. It opens your own email program with your answers filled in, and you press Send yourself.
Step 2: We confirm and may ask questions
We reply within one business day to confirm the order and the price. If something is missing (for example, what you did at a job), we'll ask you a few short questions by email. We won't guess.
Step 3: You get your draft

The time is counted from when we have everything we need. You'll receive an editable Word file and a PDF.
Step 4: Ask for changes
Read it over, and show it to a friend if you like. Reply with anything you'd like changed. Two rounds of changes are included.
Step 5: Approve, then pay
We'll email you a draft; pay only after you approve it. When you tell us you're happy with it, we'll reply with how to pay. If you decide not to go ahead, you don't owe anything.
An honest note: we use AI to help
We use AI writing tools to help draft and format your resume. A real person reads, checks and edits every page before it reaches you.
- We never make anything up: no invented jobs, dates, degrees, licenses or skills. If something is unclear, we ask you.
- We take out your phone number, email and street address before using any AI tool and put them back at the end.
- You can ask us to delete your files at any time. We delete them anyway 60 days after the work is finished.
What we won't do
- We will never ask for passwords, PINs, bank or card numbers, or your Social Security number. Please don't send them. Anyone who asks you for these is not us.
- We don't log into job websites or accounts for you.
- We don't give legal, medical, or financial advice, and we don't make those decisions for you.
- We can't promise you'll get a job or an interview. Nobody honestly can.
