Privacy note
The short version: we keep only what you send us, use it only to do your resume and reply to you, and delete it when you ask or after 60 days.
What we keep
- From the order form: your name, email address, the service you chose, the job you're aiming for, the work history and notes you typed, and the time you sent it.
- For spam protection: a scrambled, one-way code made from your internet connection's address. It's used only to limit repeated submissions, and it's deleted automatically after one hour. We don't store your actual address.
- By email: whatever you choose to send us, plus the drafts we send you.
Why we keep it
We use it only to write and edit your resume or cover letter and to reply to you. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
AI tools
We use AI writing tools to help draft your resume. Before we do, we take out your phone number, email and street address, and we put them back at the end. A person checks every page.
What we never want
Please never send us passwords, your Social Security number, bank or card numbers, your date of birth, or medical information. We never need them. The order form refuses anything that looks like one of them. If anyone claiming to be us asks for these, it isn't us.
How long we keep it
- Order form requests are deleted automatically 60 days after you send them.
- We delete email files within 60 days of finishing your work.
- If you'd like a copy of your finished resume, save it when we send it. We don't keep it long-term.
How to ask for deletion
Email orders@scantoolmatch.com from the address you used, with the subject "Delete my information". Include your reference number if you have one. We'll delete your request and files and confirm by email, usually within 2 business days.
