Warehouse worker resume

Warehouse hiring moves fast. Supervisors scan for equipment, reliability, accuracy and safety, so put those where they'll be seen.

1. List equipment you're trained and authorized on

Sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, order picker, pallet jack, and so on. Under OSHA rules, employers have to train and evaluate operators themselves, so write "Trained and evaluated on reach truck at XYZ, 2024" instead of claiming a general "license."

2. Name the scanners and systems

RF scanners, voice picking, and a warehouse management system (WMS). Name any you've used. It shows you'll be fast to train.

3. Show accuracy and pace honestly

If you were measured on pick rate or accuracy and know your numbers, include them. If not, describe it plainly: "Consistently met daily pick targets." Don't make up figures.

4. Highlight safety

A clean safety record, a safety committee role, or OSHA 10 training are all worth a line.

5. Say which shifts you can work

A short line such as "Available nights and weekends" helps, especially for seasonal or second- and third-shift roles.

6. Keep it to one page

Summary, equipment and skills, work history, training. That's all a warehouse resume needs.
