Google profile description: cleaning service

Letting cleaners into your home takes trust. A cleaning service's description should make customers feel safe and show exactly what kinds of cleaning you do.

1. Name the cleaning types

Recurring house cleaning, deep cleans, move-in/move-out, post-construction, short-term rental turnovers, small offices. Each one is a different search.

2. Say who will be in their home

"The same small team each visit", "background-checked staff", "bonded and insured". Only include what's true and current.

3. Mention supplies

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment? Can customers request fragrance-free or pet-safe products? Those details matter to many households.

4. Explain how to get started

A walk-through or a quick call to plan the first clean is a helpful, factual line. Keep "first clean discount" for a post.

5. List your service area

Most cleaning businesses are service-area businesses. Hide your home address and list the towns you cover.

Fictional before and after

Fictional before and after. Everything below is made up: every name, business, number and date is invented to illustrate the advice. It isn't from a real customer.

Bright Nest Cleaning is a made-up business. Here's a fictional profile description, rewritten to Google's guidelines.

Before (90 characters):

Bright Nest Cleaning!! 20% off first clean!!! Cheapest in town. Book at brightnest.example

After (581 of 750 characters; no links, prices or promotions):

Bright Nest Cleaning is a locally owned residential and small-office cleaning service covering Cary, Apex, Morrisville and west Raleigh. We offer weekly and every-other-week house cleaning, one-time deep cleans, move-in and move-out cleaning, and turnovers for short-term rentals. You'll see the same small, background-checked team at each visit, and we're bonded and insured. We bring our own supplies and equipment, and we're happy to use fragrance-free or pet-safe products on request. Before your first clean, we'll talk through what matters most to you so nothing gets missed.

What changed: the discount and link moved out (the discount could become a post). Added cleaning types, trust details and the service area.
